Gratitude training has changed my life. Learning the skill of always being able to recognize the good and remember all I have to be grateful for in any given moment has helped me make up for past mistakes and feel like a more fully formed conscious human. I certainly do not get it right every time, but I honestly believe I’ve developed grace during this years-long process of training my brain to notice the good even when everything feels bad.
As a result, my lows (like where I was back in mid-October) aren’t nearly as low as they used to be. And in beautiful contrast, my highs are delightful, manageable, and deliciously common.
A huge thank you to all of my teachers over the years: Krishna Das, Gabby Bernstein, Tony Robbins, Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, Lao Tzu, Stephen Batchelor, Kris Carr, Pema Chodron, Charlie Tart, Eckhart Tolle, Brendon Burchard, Thich Nhat Hanh, Lisa Nichols, Oprah Winfrey, Mel Robbins, Jack Canfield, Brene Brown, Iyanla Vanzant, Zig Ziglar, Jim Rohn, Jay Shetty, Caroline Myss, Cheryl Richardson, Joseph McClendon, and many many more.
People usually fail when they are on the verge of success.
So give as much care to the end as to the beginning;
Then there will be no failure.
